WELCOME to the Tri-State Arts Association website. TSAA was first established in 1953 as an artists’ group in connection with the Huntington Museum of Art (at that time known as the Huntington Art Galleries). Since that time, we have represented artists throughout the Tri-State Region of WV, OH and KY. TSAA is a non-profit organization. Our main purpose being:
To encourage and promote interest in and understanding of all schools of art;
To create and develop a closer relationship between art and the community;
To disseminate art information;
To further the art education of its members and others;
To secure and present prominent artists or other authorities on art for lectures, demonstrations, workshops, etc.
To assist the artists in finding markets for his work.
We hold six general meetings per year to exchange ideas, learn from each other and plan activities for our club.
Periodic newsletters are published to keep us informed of art related events and news of our members.
Twice a year the TSAA sponsors Art-in-the-Park. This event will be held June 19 & 20 and September 18 & 19, 2010 in Ritter Park.
